Pirate Scavenger Hunt

Hi Reader's 

Yesterday on the 20/7/2020 My class teacher was dressed up as a pirate of the scavenger hunt. We had a piece of paper and there was clues on them and we had to go where the clue said. And on the place where we went there would be a pirate skull and there would be a number and you have to put the number next to the right clue. It was really fun and my team got 11/15. We also learnt that in the olden days pirates used swords and daggers but now we use guns and machine guns. And their own pirate language for example. There was a clue that said Captain cool digs my group thought it was the sand pit but my teacher said it actully means a special offic so we went to the principal office     

How to make a quality comment!

How to make a quality blog post and a comment. And to be in a group and do a blog post. We learnt to make sure that when you do a comment that it has to be 1. Positive 2. Thoughtful And 3. Helpful. And that when you share your personal information that it is not just one person looking at it,it is everyone who goes on their blog!

AD Barrier Game Player A- Master

 Hi Readers, We had to pick a partner and play a game,on person had an order of shapes and the other person had to guess it and put it into th right place and after you show the screen to the other person. And after player B had to tell Player A where to put it was kind of easy because we got some help from a teacher but we still got confused of which . But we did not have time to finish the carnival one. Have you ever done this game?Here the one I had to do...😉

Blog Commenting

What I know about commenting on blogs:

That every comment has to be Positive Thoughtful and Helpful,That when you do a comment that you don't share private information,That on comments there can be a question that gets the person who posted it thinking about what maybe he could do for his next post,Comments can't  be mean or say bad stuff about the person or the persons post because it there work and they put a lot of work into doing it and it's not nice say that it's just rubbish.

Treasure Map

Hi Readers at maths we were doing some Pirates work 🕲 It was soo fun. We had to create a pirate map and the treasure was  lollipop🍭. You could do it in pairs or by your self it. My buddy was Izza we had so much fun. We had to put it in a scroll so people could do it and look for the treasure. Did you ever do a map?See you till next time👍   

Cybersmart Private Information Learning

Hi Readers, We learned how to be safe on the internet to think of it. I will teach you how to be smart on the internet.  Like if someone ask you where you live sometimes they are not asking whats the number they are asking what city like Christchurch. And also you cant say your second name on internet or even to a person. If it is important you can say the fist letter in your second name. Learning About Area

Hi Readers, with my teacher I learned about area. Area is the space of squares in an object or an animal. Here is some work I did I worked out the answer.

Learning New Thing About Me!

Hi Reader, Last week we learned that it is more safer that you use explore and unsplash because you need permission if you are using google. We had to do activities that was about us and to use images on explore and unsplash. Here is the link where I learned about this. When we did the all about me drawing it was was hard to get it into the boxes without cropping it. Most of these images are from unsplash because you can you can reuse them and you don't need to ask for permission. My Favourite animal is a meerkat whats your favourite animal and why?

My Expirment Ice Fishing

Hi Readers, I have don the most crazy experiment ever. It was ICE FISHING! It sounds crazy but it is real. I had a few attempts but after it worked it looked soo cool. Hi readers, I have again done maths. But this time it's about times tables and to use another strategy. And that is to use the 5x tables! And it is super easy you can work out any times table problem! So why don't you give it a go. 😃 

Lava Lamp

Hi Readers, I did an whole new experiment it was really fun. I did a lava lamp that kinda did work. There was tones of explosion blue foam was spiting. I kinda looks like a lava lamp. I had to do two because the first one did not work out. I use vegetable oil,water,blue food colour,barocka. I think it is a chemical change because you can't change it back to oil, water and barocka. Hi Readers, I did a new experiment! I was making Milk Plastic Tags!!!!!! Me and my mum decorated and molded our tags. It was fun we even added sparkles so it looked pretty. Could you think of more experiments I could do? 😉

RE Letters

Hi Readers I had to do a letter for an essential worker. And I chose my DAD! Because he goes to the retirment homes and clean the oil so the people can eat. I won't tell you the whole letter you can read it. Maybe you can do one to an essential worker to brighten their day. 😃

So people can cook the food and give it to the older people
to eat in the lockdown. Thank you for going to work during this

My experiment chocolate mug cake

Hello readers,I did another experiment. I made a chocolate mug cake!!! It was so yummy. I put a lot of chocolate ingredients so it would taste good. I put the mug in the microwave for 2m and 30sc. There was a physical change. Before it was put in the microwave, it was gooey and thick batter. After cooking in the microwave, it rose and the cake was now fluffy and the colour changed to lighter brown. It tasted so good.I hope you will try this and have FUN!!! 😀😀🐱

My Experiment

I had four experiments and I  had to choose which one I had to do. I chose the colour changing milk experiment. I poured milk into the plate and put  4 drops of food colouring. Then I placed a cotton bud in the middle of the food colouring dot. When I placed it in the middle, it only moved a little bit. But when you dip the cotton bud in dish washing liquid, the colours spread so far apart. It was a chemical change because the dish washing liquid made the colours spread.
